Pineapple Fritters
Delicious and easy.

[1] 1 can 8-ounce crushed pineapple
[2] 1 cup all-purpose flour
[3] 1 teaspoon baking powder
[4] 1 tablespoon sugar
[5] dash of salt
[6] 1 egg
[7] 1/2 cup milk
[8] oil (for frying)
[9] 1 cup sugar
[10] 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1. Drain pineapple; set aside syrup.
2. Add ingredients 2 through 7 to drained pineapple, gently stir until well mixed.
3. Fry at 365°F, dropping by tablespoon until golden brown, approximately 4 minutes.
4. Drain well on paper towels.

Optional Sauce
1. To pineapple syrup, add 1 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of flour.
2. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.
