Macaroni and Tomatoes
Southern comfort food at it's best.
6 servings
[1] 2 and 1/2 cups elbow or spiral pasta
[2] 2 cans Italian-style tomatoes (diced)
[3] 1/2 small sweet onion
[4] 1 tablespoon butter
1. Cook pasta about 8 minutes in boiling water.
2. While pasta is cooking, dice and simmer the onions in the butter until cooked.
3. Drain pasta. In the same pan, add diced tomatoes and onions.
4. Heat until all ingredients are warm.
5. Serve with sliced white bread.
