Maryland Crab Cakes
A classic favorite.

[1] 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
[2] 2 teaspoons mayonnaise
[3] 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
[4] 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
[5] 1/2 teaspoon salt
[6] 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
[7] 1 cup bread crumbs
[8] 1 egg
[9] 1 pound flaked crab meat
[10] 1/2 cup butter or margarine
1. Mix ingredients 1 through 6 well.
2. Gently stir in bread crumbs and egg.
3. Add crab meat, also stirring gently.
4. Form 6 flat patties and refrigerate 1 hour.
5. Melt butter or margarine in skillet on medium heat, cooking both sides until golden brown.
